Senior League Baseball

 

The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 13-16 years old, using a professional-sized 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. (Please note that players ages 13-14 are eligible for participation at either the Senior or Junior level.)

 

Bainbridge Island Little League will be fielding at Senior team for the very first time in the 2103 season. Senior ball players will take part in a full schedule of 14-20 inter-league games against squads from other District 2 leagues. Assuming eligibility and interest, Bainbridge Island Senior players will advance to All-Star play in the District 2 Tournament at the end of the season where they will find the opportunity to advance to State and Regional Tournaments. The culmination of post-season tournament play is the Senior League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the globe. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League Baseball.
