KNIGHTS TAKE CHAPMAN IN THE SEASON OPENER WITH A 6-5 win!
The CLU Knights took to the ice Friday night in their season opener vs. Chapman University. Chapman took the first lead with a 2-0 score end of the first. The Knights came back, with back to back goals 7 minutes in to the 2nd period to tie it up. Chapman edged ahead the end of the 2nd to take a 3-2 lead. The Knights came back strong early in the 3rd to make it a 5-3 lead over Chapman. Game gets tied up with 8 minutes remaining in the 3rd. The Knights bring their game to take the 6-5 win over Chapman on their home ice sending their fans home disappointed. Fiercely fought game by the CLU Knights with their 1st W on the board.
