HIGHLIGHTS - DEVILS AND PANTHERS CELEBRATE CHL SUCCESS
NOTTINGHAM PANTHERS VS TPS TURKU
Nottingham Panthers made history thanks to a 2-0 victory over Finnish side TPS Turku at the Motorpoint Arena, becoming the first British side to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions Hockey League as a result of the win.
Josh Shalla and Alexander Mokshantsev were the goal scorers for Nottingham, whilst netminder Mike Garnett made 32-saves for the shutout.
CARDIFF DEVILS VS VÄXJÖ LAKERS
Cardiff Devils recorded their second CHL victory thanks to a 5-1 win against SHL side Växjö Lakers at Ice Arena Wales.
Captain Jake Morissette, Sean Bentivoglio, Craig Moore, Joey Haddad and Mark Richardson were all on target for the Devils, Team GB goaltender Ben Bowns making an incredible 45-saves during the game.
