Los Angeles Dodgers draft Max Gamboa in 18th Round
With their Round 18 selection in the 2017 MLB Draft, the Los Angeles Dodgers selected hard-throwing RHP Max Gamboa out of Mill Valley, CA. Gamboa was a member of the California Warriors during the 2014 GSCBL season.
Gamboa finished 2014 with a 1-1 record and 2.63 ERA over 13 2/3 innings out of the Warriors bullpen.
Gamboa went to Pepperdine U. where he was a mainstay on the Waves pitching staff throughout his career. As the years went on, Gamboa continued to gain experience and increase his draft stock.
