Stubbs' Grant For Education
The Hawkesbury Hawks are proud to announce the newly formed Stubbs Grant which has been donated by the family of former Hawkesbury Hawks CJ Stubbs in the amount of $7500.00 (US)
The Stubbs Grant will provide the team an opportunity to offer players some financial assistance towards the cost of playing junior hockey.
The Hawks will also create a new award to recognize one player each year that exemplifies hard work and commitment along with being the ideal teammate, which were all qualities that defined C.J. Stubbs during his time as a Hawk. This award will be called "The Stubbsy".
The recipient of "The Stubbsy" will receive a check for $500.00 to go towards the players education.
The Hawkesbury Hawks would like to thank the Stubbs family for their commitment and future support to help in the continues success of our organization.
