USF is a well-known and valued member of the Tampa Bay community and your association with the Ice Bulls will project a positive image to the public and increase your visibility in the area. Your business will be associated with a team with a long history of success both on and off the ice.
The USF Men's Ice Hockey Club are a Division II team in the Collegiate Hockey Federation and have a strong winning tradition. The team has been in existence for several years since 1989. They initially played in the College Hockey South and joined the ACHA in 2003. Between 1998 and 2004, the Ice Bulls won the College Hockey South championship four times. Since 2010 the Ice Bulls have been to the ACHA South Regionals four times.
The team finished the 2014-2015 season ranked 3rd in the South Division of ACHA, also making ACHA South Regionals. In the 2019 - 2020 season, the team finished 1st in the South Division of the ACHA and 3rd in the entire nation before the season being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They have won the SCHC South Division Championship in 2019 and placed as the runner-up in 2022. The Ice Bulls have traveled to the National Championship tournament four out of the last five seasons.
The Ice Bulls maintain their winning attitudes off the ice by involving themselves in the community. We believe that it is important to extend ourselves beyond merely playing hockey as our players have logged over 1,000 hours of community service in past seasons, contributing to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Metropolitan Ministries, John Knox Village, Vincent Lecavalier Foundation, St. Jude’s Hospital, Toys for Tots, Susan G. Komen, and foundations benefiting MS research. Players have also donated time to work with local youth hockey teams.
The Ice Bulls are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are fully tax-deductible.
