Greyhounds win BRHC Colonial Championship!
After a rocky regular season, the Hounds rebounded to win thier third BRHC Colonial division championship in the five years they have played in the conference. The tournament started with a 6-3 win over Richmond. In the semi-final, Corey Sorrento stopped 50 shots to backstop the team to a 1-0 win over Christopher Newport. The championship game would end up being a back and forth affair against UNC Wilmington. After getting out to a 2-1 first period lead, the Hounds would surrender the next 4 goals to fall behind 5-2 after two periods. The Greyhounds would score four goals in the third period to tie the game, and after a scoreless overtime the game would be decided in a shootout.
