Rutgers University Comes Back to the NECHL

Rutgers University is proud to announce that they will be joining the NECHL for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Rutgers will be joining the conference as its eight member and will face off against University at Buffalo, Canisius College, Cornell University, Oswego State, Niagara University, Cortland State, and RIT during conference play.

Rutgers is returning to NECHL after a brief stint in the ESCHL. Rutgers was one of the original members of the NECHL and is happy to be back in an organized conference. Joe Dickson Head Coach of Rutgers had this to say “Rutgers is very happy to be back in the NECHL & once again compete for a spot in the national tournament”

Rutgers schedule will have them playing each conference team two times each and plan on making their conference debut against Cortland on September 28 at Pro Skate Arena.
