2018 Rookie Camp

27 players (21 F/D and 6 G) were selected from the 1st 2 days of camp

to play in the CAMP SELECTS vs NAVY VETS VETERANS game on Sunday afternoon !!!

Matt Zilke opened the scoring for the Vets early in the 1st period

before the Selects replied with 2 quick goals midway thru the period to take a 2-1 lead into the 2nd period.

The Selects added a goal late in the 2nd to carry a 3-1 lead into the final period.

But the Vets came storming back, scoring 3 times in the 1st 3 minutes of the 3rd period to take the lead.

The Selects tied it midway thru the 3rd but Kyle Walker scored what proved to be the winner just 42 seconds later.

The Vets added an insurance goal with just over 4 minutes left to get the 6-4 victory !!!

The Navy Vets Rookie Camp Selects hosted the North MIddlesex Stars Rookies

in an Exhibition game at Southwood Arena on Monday June 4...

the Selects jumped out to an early 5-0 lead before the halfway mark of the 1st period

and cruised to a 9-1 victory over the Stars.
