Trenton Golden Hawks forward Robert Smythe (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Morrisville State College Mustangs beginning with the 2015-16 SUNYAC season.

The Round Lake, Illinois native joined the Golden Hawks this past season after spending one year with the now-defunct Espanola Rivermen of the NOJHL.  The big, strong two-way winger was a key pick-up for the Hawks as they captured a third East Division title in four years and finished as runner-up to the Aurora Tigers for the overall OJHL regular season title.  Smythe would notch 8 goals and 27 points in 45 regular season contests, before playing in three post-season games en route to the North-East Conference Championship Series.

Congratulations to Robert on the commitment and best of luck at the next level!
