MARKHAM JUNIOR 'A' ANNOUNCEMENT
Please be advised the Ontario Junior Hockey League, in conjunction with the City of Markham, will be making a special announcement of a new member to the Markham Sports Family.
The announcement will be made on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Markham Centennial Community Centre (8600 McCowan Road, Markham) beginning at 11:00am.
Expected to be in attendance for the announcement are:
Mayor Frank Scarpitti (City of Markham)
City of Markham Council Members
Brent Garbutt (OJHL Manager of Hockey Operations)
Scott Farley (OHA Chief Executive Officer)
Members of the Markham Junior ‘A’ Franchise
Unable to attend is OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy, who is attending the 2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup currently being held in Fort Frances, Ontario, where the OJHL’s Toronto Patriots look to defend their title.
