LISCIO COMMITS TO MORRISVILLE
Trenton Golden Hawks forward Danny Liscio has confirmed his commitment to join the Morrisville State College Mustangs beginning with the 2015-16 SUNYAC season.
The Woodbridge, Ontario native made his OJHL debut out of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Midget program in 2010-11 as a 16-year old affiliate, playing 10 games for the club. The following year, Liscio made his full-time debut with the Brampton Capitals and made an immediate impact, tying for the team lead with 15 goals, while finishing second in scoring with 30 points in 49 regular season contests.
The 2012-13 season saw a return to his roots, as Liscio rejoined the Toronto Jr. Canadiens and continued his offensive prowress, finishing second with 18 goals and fourth in overall scoring with 33 points in 54 contests. He would ramp-up his production during his first post-season appearance, leading the team with seven points during a six game first round loss to the eventual league champion St. Michael's Buzzers.
Moving on to his third team in three seasons, Liscio was dealt East to the Trenton Golden Hawks, where he would spend his final two seasons of junior eligibility. He would continue to improve on his offensive totals, recording seasons of 24 goals, 53 points and 29 goals, 65 points respectively; finishing ninth in league goal scoring and twelfth in the OJHL scoring race during this past season as the club captured a third East Division title in four years. Liscio capped off his OJHL career with a combined 103 goals and 209 points during the regular season and playoffs.
