The OJHL's newest scoring sensation tore-up the opposition in 12 October contests, helping the Vees post a 10-2-0 record to close the gap behind the league-leading Trenton Golden Hawks in the East Division standings, while also being ranked 20th among all CJHL clubs. Rinaldi registered points in 10 of the Voyageurs 12 contests and currently sits on a nine-game scoring streak. In nine games he would notch multiple points, including five three-point efforts and three game-winning goals. Rinaldi also keys Kingston's power play and led all league scorers with nine power play points.
The 20-year old Pierrefonds, Quebec native joins the Voyageurs this season after spending 2014-15 in the BCHL as a member of the Nanaimo Clippers, finishing as BCHL finalist after falling to the Penticton Vees in the Championship Series. Prior to that, Rinaldi spent two years from 2010-12 in the Quebec Midget 'AAA' League as a member of the Lac St-Louis Tigers and then chose to attend Kent School to play U.S. Prep School hockey in Kent, Connecticut for two years from 2012-14. Thus far this season, Rinaldi currently leads all OJHL scorers with 22 goals, 36 points, 6 power play goals and 5 game-winning goals.
Drake Board of the Aurora Tigers was runner-up to Rinaldi as the North-East Conference Player-of-the-Month. The Tigers' alternate captain led the North-East Conference with 13 assists in October and was second in scoring with 18 points in 13 games played.
