BURNIE COMMITS TO KINGSTON
Wellington Dukes rookie forward Tyler Burnie (photo credit - Ed McPherson/OJHL Images) has signed with the Kingston Frontenacs and is expected to make his OHL debut this week.
The 16-year old native of Midhurst, Ontario joined the Dukes this season out of the Barrie Colts Minor Midget 'AAA' program, where following the season he was selected by the Frontenacs in the 5th round, 90th overall, of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. During the off-season Burnie captured a bronze medal as a member of Team OMHA Navy at the 2015 OHL Gold Cup. Thus far this season, Burnie has notched 11 points in 29 games played for the Dukes.
