Last season’s OJHL Rookie-of-the-Year has continued to excel up front for the Georgetown Raiders and despite only playing six games during the month of December, Jacome recorded 13 points, which was the third best total in the conference throughout. Registering six goals and seven assists saw him jump into fourth place in the overall OJHL scoring race with 20 goals and 56 points in 35 regular season contests. Leading the Raiders to the top of the South-West Conference standings once again, Jacome tallied points in all six December games and entered January on a nine-game point scoring streak (currently sitting at 11 consecutive games). He recorded multiple points in three of the six match-ups, including an impressive four goal, six point outing in a 7-3 victory over the South Division contending St. Michael’s Buzzers on December 20 to close out 2016.
The Caledon, Ontario native joined the Raiders full-time in 2015-16 after playing seven games for the club as an affiliate in 2014-15, including two post-season contests, out of the Brampton 45's Midget 'AAA' organization. Jacome notched three points in five regular season contests for an impressive OJHL debut as a 17-year old. He would join his brother, Brendan, last season to form one of the most offensively gifted tandems in the league, finishing 1-2 in scoring on the team. Jack led the Raiders in scoring with 44 assists and 67 points to also sit fifth and sixth respectively among all OJHL scorers, while leading all rookies in both categories. He would record 20 points in 13 January contests to be named runner-up for the OJHL South-West Conference Player-of-the-Month Award and his added production saw the Raiders capture a second consecutive South Division and South-West Conference crown, while earning a scholarship to attend Clarkson University beginning in 2017. During the post-season, he added another 22 points in 22 contests as the Raiders captured their first conference playoff title since 2005, before ultimately falling in six games to the Trenton Golden Hawks in the OJHL Championship Series. Following the season, Jacome was named an OJHL 1st Team All-Prospect, 2nd Team All-Star and Rookie-of-the-Year, as well as an OHA All-Prospect. Thus far in 2016-17, Jacome has continued to increase his offensive productivity as one of the marquee players in the league and earned a spot on Team OJHL Hawerchuk at the 2016 Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge held in Cornwall, Ontario, as well as a spot at the Team Canada Final Selection Camp for the 2016 World Junior ‘A’ Challenge.
Max Balinson of the Burlington Cougars was runner-up to Jacome as the South-West Conference Player-of-the-Month. The defenceman led the Cougars in scoring and finished fifth in scoring in the South Division with 11 points during December.
