BRAMWELL COMMITS TO CORNELL

Zach Bramwell of the Oakville Blades (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Cornell University Big Red beginning with with either the 2018-19 or 2019-20 season.

"We are thrilled to announce Zach's commitment to Cornell," said Blades General Manager Jordan Selinger. "He has been able to score goals at every level and we're confident he will be able to continue to do so going forward in his hockey career. He has fit in seamlessly with the great group we have in Oakville and will continue to contribute to our success going forward."

Bramwell has had a busy season, playing at the Eastern Canada Cup back in November and earning a spot on Canada East’s training camp roster for the World Junior A Challenge.

The centre played minor midget and midget seasons with his hometown Hamilton Huskies AAA organization.

Bramwell played Jr. B in Ancaster last season before joining the Blades last fall. He has 18 goals and 15 assists in his first 40 games in the OJHL this year.
