JORDAN COMMITS TO MIAMI REDHAWKS
North York Rangers forward Noah Jordan (Photo by Shawn Muir / OJHL Images) has committed to the NCAA Division 1 Miami University Redhawks for 2018-19.
Jordan, 21, joined the Rangers after an early-season trade from the Aurora Tigers to help bolster North York’s offense. Jordan fit in nicely, scoring 18 goals and finishing with 38 points in 47 games as a dynamic two-way forward during a season that saw the Rangers win the most game in the history of the franchise.
The Toronto resident played his minor midget season with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens before spending the next three seasons with the OJHL's St. Michael's Buzzers.
Last season, Jordan started the year with the BCHL's Penticton Vees before returning back to Ontario to play for the CCHL's Brockville Braves.
One of Jordan’s biggest accomplishments was representing Team Canada East at the 2015 World Junior A Challenge, with the big power-forward scoring a goal against Canada West and an assist against Switzerland.
Congratulations and good luck in the NCAA, Noah.
