    The seeding points given will be based on the win/loss percentage as shown below on the Power Seeding Point System for Ice Hockey Table.  The team's total points divided by games averages are placed in order from highest to lowest.  

Tie Breaker Format

In the case of ties, we go to the following tie-breaking procedure:

1. Head to Head

2. Win/Loss Record

3. 10 Point Wins

4.  8 Point Wins

5. 6 Point Wins

6. 4 Point Wins

7. Coin Toss

Class A (13 Teams): Brighton, Fairport, Gates-Chili, ***Genesee Ice Devils, ***Geneva, Greece Storm, Hilton, **McQuaid, Penfield, Pittsford, Rush Henrietta, Victor, Webster Schroeder (Seeds 1 through 3 will get a bye, while 4 through 13 will play in a pre-quarter match-up)

Class B (9 Teams):  Aquinas, Brockport, Canandaigua, Churchville-Chili, Geneseo/Livonia/Avon, Irondequoit, Notre Dame of Batavia, Spencerport, Webster Thomas (Seeds 1 through 7 will get a bye while seeds 8 and 9 will play a pre-quarter match-up)

** - Team has requested to play up in divisional alignment or sectional classification

*** - Team has requested to play down in divisional alignment through program assistance; any Class A team that does this will be the last seed team in sectionals regardless of sectional standings.

Once the regular season is complete, the brackets for Class A and B will be created on Pointstreak and direct links will be updated on our website.
