AIH Players Can Offset Tuition With Our Ad Book
After some intense discussion and debate, and amid rising ice and league fees, the Abington Ice Hockey Board has found a way to keep our tuition set at the same prices as last season. In addition to locking in last year's fees, we are going to offer our players a chance to offset their fees by soliciting $50 and/or $100 ads for an AIH Program Book that we will be distributing at games and events. The Program will have our team's rosters, game schedules and information about our club along with ads from businesses in our community that would be willing to sponsor the book. There will be a 75/25 split on all ads procured and players can use that 75% to offset their tuition costs.
The board wants to give players that wish to don the Galloping Ghosts sweater every opportunity to do so and hopes that this option will eliminate the exclusion of any player due to monetary considerations.
A sample program with prices and an application is now available. Players can take this sample in to businesses in their area that they think would be interested in sponsoring the team. These applications will be available at our next Registration/Parent's Meeting. We also have a DIGITAL COPY available.
