Joe Jarzynka was transplanted to the Puget Sound Region in 1990, where he began successful athletic careers in both soccer and football. Best known for his accomplishments on the football field at the University of Washington, Jarzynka was honored as a Husky Legend for his exploits as a punt/kick returner and wide receiver in the late 90's. Never losing his passion for soccer and desire to compete at a high level, he joined the South Sound FC at its inception and has played with the club ever since, from its inaugural season in the PASL Premier Indoor Soccer League, to last year when the clubs indoor team began playing under the Tacoma Stars banner.
As a regional Commercial Real Estate professional, Jarzynka also brings a wealth of business connections in the community and helps the team in these areas to grow our reach with local business' and fans. As a player/coach of the Tacoma Stars Reserve Team, he will be taking the same leadership qualities, passion and work ethic that has made him successful on the field, and use them to help develop the Reserve Team players into true professionals, both on and off the field.
