12/1- Cal State Fullerton 9- LMU 4
The Titans swept the season series against LMU with an offensive explosion. The win moved Fullerton one point ahead of LMU for fourth place. LMU now has to win their final conference game against Long Beach and hope Fullerton and the 49ers don't get another point to make the playoffs.

12/2- Cal State Northridge 5- Long Beach State 3
The Matadors avenged their only loss in conference to Long Beach State by beating the 49ers at home by a pair. Levi Bolls opened the scoring for CSUN at 6:10 of the first period. Forty nine seconds later Alex Reints doubled the lead. But just 17 seconds after that Kody Ichinaga stole the puck at the red line and went bar down on the backhand to get Long Beach in the game. That goal capped off a three goal in 1:06 span. Long Beach tied the game with 58 seconds left in the period when Francis Lemay scored on the power play.
Ellis Bourgoujian put CSUN up 3-2 2:59 into the second. But Long Beach kept pressing and retied the game with 33 seconds left. Adam Stanovich poked home a rebound.
Max Goen scored back-to-back goals in the third period to give the Matadors the win.
Long Beach missed an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot as they need just one more point. CSUN is tied again with San Diego State for first place with a 5-1 record. That sets up a huge matchup in Simi Valley next Saturday. That game could very well determine who gets the #1 seed for the playoffs.
