There are many expenses that come with operating a summer collegiate baseball team. Our major expenses include salaries, travel, umpire fees, uniforms, and equipment. Ticket sales, concession sales, and merchandise sales help with these expenses, but it isn't enough to cover everything. Our generous sponsors are what make our seasons possible
Summer collegiate baseball leagues are a big step from college baseball to the MLB. Student athletes from all over the United States and Central America play for our team to showcase their skills to MLB scouts. Without programs such as ours, these athletes would be missing out on a lot of exposure to help them get to the next level
The Lima Locos baseball team is a vital part of our local economy. Each year, our organization generates over $1,000,000 of additional spending into Allen County (Allen County CVB, 2024).
The Lima Locos are a 501(c)(3). All sponsorships are tax deductible.
