Leave a Legacy Project appeals to alumni

Covid-19 has been among the toughest opponents we faced. To keep our program strong for our community and our future players, we’re making a special appeal to our alumni members, their families, and our loyal fans to make a lasting difference.
We’re pleased to introduce the Napanee Raiders’ Leave a Legacy Project. For a minimum donation of $100, we will recognize members of our alumni by prominently displaying their names and years of service on the blocks of the dressing room wall for years to come. Subsequent recognition will also be provided in arena (when permitted) and on our web site.
We also recognize our fans have supported us through thick and thin and they share in our tradition of success. For a similar donation, we will display these supporters’ names on a companion plaque and online in order to recognize their contributions.

Raiders training camp full

The Napanee Raiders are looking forward to returning to the ice for the 2021-2022 PJHL season. It is expected there will be a full schedule within the six-team Tod Division, provided the requisite approvals are in place from the Province and local health units.
To that end, the last team to lift the Schmalz Cup are expected to open training camp at the Strathcona Paper Centre on Aug. 24, 2021. Coach Ben Hagerman and his bench staff will return and they're expecting a competitive camp with many returnees on the ice. With several players graduating due to age or advancement, there will be opportunity to earn a position.
The first two ice times of camp will be Aug. 24 from 8-9:30 p.m. and Aug. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. Hopefuls are encouraged to register via the "Recruiting" link on this website. There will be a $40 fee to attend, e-transfer to napaneeraiders@gmail.com. Permission to skate is required and full equipment, including neck guards and full facial protection, is mandatory.
Stay tuned for further announcements about the 2021-2022 season and player commitments.
EDIT: Training camp is now full. Please contact Coach Hagerman or GM Bramburger directly to make arrangements for tryout dates.
Be a Raider

The Raiders play in the Strathcona Paper Centre, modern facility with two NHL-sized ice surfaces, a dedicated dressing room, and a seating capacity of more than 1,200 for hockey. We are located within a half-hour of Kingston and Belleville and the post-secondary schools Queen's University, Royal Military College, St. Lawrence College, and Loyalist College. We are looking for hockey players born from 2000 to 2004 to compete for positions in our lineup.
The Raiders have placed first in the PJHL Tod Division the past three seasons in a row. A year ago, they won the Schmalz Cup as Ontario champions. We've had players graduate directly from our program to the CIS, OHL, OJHL, and CCHL in recent years. We believe in a commitment to practice, hard work, and skills development to reach team and personal goals.

Raiders support LACGH, cancer-related causes

The Napanee Raiders have raised close to $10,000 for the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation in support of the chemotherapy unit through the Pink in the Rink campaign. The initiative has also helped the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride and families in the Napanee area with children fighting cancer. We thank our community for supporting this ongoing effort.
