The Langley Blaze Youth Academy is focused on helping young aspiring baseball players reach their full potential and accomplish their goals. The low instructor-to-player ratio will allow for one-on-one focus and individualized instruction. The academy will be a 3-month program that will meet once a week at the Blaze Indoor facility on Friday’s from 6:00pm-7:00pm, starting in January 2015. The cost will be $125/month.
The instruction will be broken down to cover tools necessary for success:
- Hitting Mechanics
- Hitting Mindset
- Arm Care
- Knowledge of the game
Along with these five tools will be a focus on:
- Proper Dynamic Warm-Up – utilized by college and pro baseball programs
- Flexibility
Many of the players who have participated in these camps have taken the next step in their young careers, excelling with their current teams and becoming leaders at the prep, junior and premier level of the Langley Blaze.
