Simon Waston will begin his second year with the KC Mavs Elite program. Having served his first season as the 16U Head Coach, Watson will oversee both the 18&16u bench for 2014-15 season. Coach Watson, a Waterloo, Ontario native played his college hockey at St. Lawrence University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psycholgy & a Master's in Educational Leadership. 

After his college career, Watson went on to play five years in the Central Hockey League amassing 95 goals and 125 assists in 298 games. Watson was named CHL's Man of the Year following the 2010-11 season for his contributions to the community off the ice. Following his playing career Watson spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the Missouri Mavericks before continuting to his current role with the pro team as Director of Player Personnal.

Email Clint Elberts

Clint Elberts has been a professional goalie coach for over 12 years. Coach Elberts works with the KC Mavs Elite Program which plays in the Tier I Elite Hockey League. Coach Elberts is the owner & operator of The Hockey Center, the Mavs Elite exclusive training center. Clint is a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach who participates every summer at the USA Select National Camps held in Rochester, NY. Coach Elberts is a member of the Goaltending Consultant Group (GCG) which is a select group of goaltending coaches from around the world. Traveling to Finland each summer to work for GoaliePro's Elite Camp, Clint works with Jukka Ropponen who is the foremost goalie coach in Finland. Coach Elberts has also served as goaltending coach for Omaha & Des Moines of the USHL & is currentley in that role with the Central Hockey League, Missouri Mavericks.
