Coaching Staff

Coach May brings to the Trappers program coaching experience at both the college and high school levels. Originally from Helicon, Alabama, he attended Shelton State Community College as well as Central Baptist College where he played baseball at each school. He started his coaching career by staying at Central Baptist before moving on to the University of Central Arkansas as the Director of Player Development. Currently he is the head baseball coach at Herber Springs High School, where he has the ultimate goal of making an indelible impact on everyone around him.

Coach Habeger comes to the Trappers from Sacramento, California, bringing nearly 30 years of coaching experience with him. Originally from Madison, SD, Habeger played baseball and rugby at Sacramento State in the early 90s and then played independent baseball for the Tahoe Twins in Reno, Nevada, before heading into education. He is an Adapted Physical Education Specialist in the Sacramento City Unified School district and is currently in his 10th season coaching baseball at Rosemont High School.
