The Rose Family would like to thank the PWHL and all of its members for allowing us to honour our daughter and sister, Christie Rose, by awarding an annual scholarship in her name since her passing in 2008. Christie had a passion for the game of hockey and a love for her teammates. There have been many deserving applicants and we have had to make some hard choices. The recipients have all honoured Christie’s legacy by being good students and good athletes.
All of the recipients also had a strong desire to make the world a better place, and we are sure they will.
At this time we will be closing the scholarship and we wish all the applicants, recipients and players best wishes in all their future endeavours.
