About Us

The Concord Athletics are looking for players for the 2025 summer season. Contact Jeremy Teeter at jeremyteeter2018@gmail.com if interested.

We have been a member of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League since 2017 with the goal of helping college players to further develop their skills over the summer. The Athletics play their home games at Concord High School (Concord, NC).

The Southern Collegiate Baseball League was established in 1999 and is a wooden bat summer baseball league consisting of six collegiate level teams. The league schedule is designed to accommodate college players who have already completed the spring baseball season with their college teams. The league maintains a 100-pitch count for pitchers, plays doubleheaders on weekends and two games during the week.  The season consists of a 42-game regular season schedule that includes an All-Star Game break. Top players are eligible for the league’s All-Star Game and the teams compete in a tournament at the end of the regular season to determine the League Champion.

Eligible players for the Southern Collegiate Baseball League teams are college baseball athletes from a four-year NCAA or NAIA accredited institution or any junior colleges and community colleges with baseball programs. League teams hire trained coaches and support staff to insure proper development for each baseball athlete. League by-laws require strict adherence to NCAA standards for the summer baseball league and the Commissioner, League Officers, and coaching staffs, who are responsible for such compliance.

How the ATHLETICS got their name... Athletic training and competition has been a community effort and rallying point dating back to the first Olympics.  Our program ranging from 7 year olds to college players aims to create an environment where athletes can reach their full potential within a supportive and dynamic sports community.

We provide a high level of baseball in a family-friendly environment that everyone can afford.
