Shelley has been actively involved with the Danbury Westerners since the 2008 season where she and her family began serving as a host family. For the 2010 season Shelley expanded her role within the organization to include serving as Host Family Coordinator where she is responsible for host family communications and player assignments. In 2011, Shelley further expanded her role in the organization and added Treasurer, to her responsibilities.
Shelley is employed by Cartus Corporation where she is the Vice President of Operations Accounting. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Financial Management from Ball State University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communications from Fairfield University.
Shelley is married to Jon Pitser who now serves as President for the Westerners. Jon & Shelley have two sons, Jake and Alex who have also been involved with the organization as volunteers over the years. You can email Shelley at shelley@danburywesterners.com.
