BILL TERLECKY | GENERAL MANAGER

Hired at the 1978 Winter Baseball Meetings by the Baltimore Orioles AAA affiliate -- the Rochester Red Wings ... Was with the team for the 1981 longest game ever played --33 innings vs Pawtucket Red Sox ... Named Co-General Manger in 1981 at 27 years old ... Hired in 1984 to be the first GM of the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Red Barons ... While waiting for the new stadium to be built, ran the team in Waterbury CT; Williamsport, PA; and Old Orchard Beach, ME ... Was the GM in Williamsport in 1987 and at Bowman Field for the infamous " Potato Game" ... Arrived in Scranton for the 1989 season and oversaw the opening of Lackawanna County Stadium -- new home for the Phillies AAA franchise ... Named International League Executive of the Year in 1991 ... Coordinated the 1995 Triple A All-Star Game ... Jumped to the upstart Independent Northern League in 1997 with the Madison Black Wolf ... Back to affiliated baseball in 2001 as the GM of the Mets Double A team in Binghamton, NY... Awarded the Frank Cashen Award in 2003 as the top executive in the Mets system ... Featured in the book Getting in the Game .... Back to Independent ball as the GM of the Gary SouthShore Railcats in 2007 ... Named Minor League Exec of the Year by the Chicago Pitch and Hit Club in 2007 ... Joined the College Summer Ball ranks in 2011 as the GM of the Amsterdam Mohawks ... Took current position as GM of the North Shore Navigators for the 2012 season ... Named Futures League Executive of the Year in 2012 ... Hosted the 2015 FCBL All-Star Game ... ASHLEY LARAMIE | ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Ashley is currently a graduate student at Northeastern University where she is studying Sports Leadership. While getting her Master’s degree, Ashley is a substitute teacher in the Lynn school system and she just recently stopped babysitting for a family in Newton where she previously went to school. She received her undergraduate degree from Lasell College in Newton, MA in Sports Management. While at Lasell, she played four years of varsity softball where she was a first baseman and eventually became a catcher as well. In those four years, Ashley was named to the academic all-conference team, first-team all-conference, and second-team all-conference. Off the field, Ashley was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and received a bowl award for “Outstanding Contribution to Campus Life at Lasell College.”

Ashley has a passion for sports and wouldn’t trade any summer for a summer with the Navs. She has been part of the Navs since the 2010 season and she says it has become a part of her. “Working with everyone for what could be 12 hours a day for 3 or 4 months really makes you feel they are family members because you barely see yours, but I love it!” said Ashley on returning to the Navs.

Being born and raised in Lynn, Ashley knows the ropes of Frasier Field and cannot wait until the start of the season! Let’s go Navs!!!!

JOE GILL | DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

Joe Gill is entering his eighth season with the North Shore Navigators. Starting as an intern, Gill has worked his way up the ranks and was named the Director of Public Relations in 2013.

As Director of Public Relations, responsibilities include being the primary contact for all community relations. Gill also manages the press box on a daily basis. This includes overseeing statistics, the radio broadcast and in-game music, and public address announcing. Gill also works to better the Navigators’ presence in all media outlets.

Under Gill’s watch, the Navigators have seen the greatest growth percentage in Facebook likes out of any team in the FCBL.

A native of Lynn, Gill earned his Bachelor’s degree in politics from Saint Anselm College and his Master’s Degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015.

Gill also works full time as the Legislative Aide in the Massachusetts State House for State Representative Daniel F. Cahill.

JOSHUA KUMMINS | DIRECTOR OF MEDIA RELATIONS

​Joshua Kummins is in his first season as Director of Media Relations, but he has covered the North Shore Navigators since their move to the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and watched games at Historic Fraser Field for as long as he can remember.
 
As Director of Media Relations, Kummins contributes writing in the form of press releases, post-game recaps and features, helps maintain Navs social media channels and serves as the team's primary sports information contact. Kummins regularly travels with the team, providing in-game updates via his @NSNavsMedia Twitter account and the "North Shore Navigators Beat" Blog.

He currently writes about the collegiate baseball scene and other topics for New England Baseball Journal and spends winters covering the Boston Bruins and some of the nation's top collegiate programs for New England Hockey Journal.
 
The Malden native and Lasell College graduate has written for The Daily Item, SB Nation College Hockey and other publications, and also served as Associate Editor of the former BostonSportsU18.com, an all-sports website written exclusively by high school students from the Boston area, for more than three years.

PETE LAVEN | PRESIDENT, SALVI SPORTS

Pete is entering his first season as President of Salvi Sports Enterprises, overseeing Pat and Lindy Salvi owned franchises made up of the Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League), Gary Southshore RailCats (American Association), North Shore Navigators (Futures Collegiate Baseball League) and the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks (FCBL). 2013 will be Pete’s 22nd season working in professional baseball, having spent the past 13 seasons with the Arkansas Travelers, the Double AA Texas League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. In 2006, Pete was named Texas League Executive of the Year and was promoted to General Manager in 2007, the position he held through the 2012 season.

Pete’s previous stops include the Kane County Cougars (1994),  Albany Polecats (1995) and Piedmont (NC) Boll Weevils (1996-99).

A native of LaGrange, Illinois, Pete graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1991. He and his wife, Holly, and daughter, Kellan, will reside in Schaumburg.

MELI ABRAHAM | SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Meli joined the Navigators as the Senior Graphic Designer in February 2012, having spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons with the Amsterdam Mohawks of the PGCBL.

She graduated from Columbia College in Chicago, IL, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in film and video (with a major in computer animation).

A general sports nut at heart, Meli is a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks fan. She celebrates the holiday that is Opening Day at Wrigley Field every season.

Meli currently resides in the northwest suburbs just outside of Chicago.

JACOB | ATHLETIC TRAINER

Jacob will be a new addition to the Navigator's Medical staff this year. Jacob, a full-time Athletic Trainer, works at ProEx Physical Therpay and Wilmington High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Salem State University in 2016. He is an active volunteer with "Help Give Life to Deb" in Beverly, Massachusetts along with assisting with the coordination of fundraising events in that area. Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, Jacob lives in Beverly and is currently in the process of training for an Iron Man race.
