Event Staff (15 Positions Available)

Be part of the crew that “puts on the show.” Learn and do every aspect of game management—ticket selling and taking, promotions crew, scorecard sales, 50/50 sales, merchandise stand, plus special duties related to certain games. Get valuable experience while building your resume and network. Interns report one hour before each home game.

There is no compensation for these positions.

A phone interview is required for this position. Season runs from May 31 through mid August. There are also 2 short training days.

Press Box Manager

Responsible for the set up and coordination of the working press box during all 28 home games. Support staff includes Scoreboard Operator, PA Announcer, Official Scorer, Music Operator, Play-by-Play Announcer. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.

Specific duties include writing pre-game scorecard notes, pre- and post-game social media posts, post-game reporting to news outlets. After training, the ability to get the press box “up and running” including music, PA, and live streaming systems.

Skills required for this position: Strong writing skills (must submit a writing sample), working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Commitment and compensation: On-site site at Fraser Field 4 hours before game time (28 home games and playoffs). $600 stipend for the season.

A personal interview is required for this position. Start date for training will be May 25th (for training).

Public Address Announcer

The Voice of Fraser Field for all 28 home games and playoffs. Report 45 minutes before each home game.

Compensation for this position is $200 for the season.

A phone interview is required for this position. Season runs from May 31 through mid August.
