2016 Womens Beantown Camp Staff Announced
What is the women’s classic camp?
The 2016 Women’s Beantown Classic will be open to players at the ’99-’04 birth year. Note that ‘98s who are planning to PG or are uncommitted to a school will be accepted based on availability.
We will host a 3 day mini-camp immediately before the Women’s Beantown Classic tournament at the New England Sports Center. Registration will be very limited and we will do our best to make sure that appropriate players are in attendance. 2015 was a sellout! You will find all of the camp details listed below. The camp is designed to help prepare players for the event and at same time provide a great scouting opportunity.
Over the last five years the Women’s Beantown has grown into the premier amateur showcase event in the United States. In 2015 we had more than 200 teams participate with attendance from close to 180 scouts, including EVERY major Women’s NCAA Division I and Division III program.
Our 3 day mini-camp will be run exclusively by some of the top college coaches in today’s game giving players a great environment with which to further showcase their abilities. In addition to unprecedented exposure to collegiate coaches our players will hear from current NCAA Division I strength and conditioning coaches as well as nutrition specialists for tips on how train smarter and more effectively. This year we will use live video to provide on the spot feedback to players on their performance and techniques used in practices and skills sessions.
On behalf of Kelly Katorji and the entire Women’s Beantown staff we’re excited to extend you and/your players an invitation to join us at training camp this summer. Our goal is to help you improve your communication with coaches and to hopefully do our best to educate and teach you more about not only the game but the college process itself. This camp is a unique opportunity to train and compete against great players in the women’s game, gain semi-private exposure to top college coaches and learn about every important aspect of the recruiting process from the best programs in the country.
Below you’ll find a sample schedule of events as well as an online link to register and secure your spot.
