GAME ADMIN
Please check your schedule to ensure it is accurate. You are guaranteed three games against three different opponents. In the event of a conflict, please notify the Registrar as soon as possible. AA and AAA teams are guaranteed four games against four different opponents.
Scheduled game times are approximate. Your team must be ready to play 20 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. There is a mercy rule, PLUS extra time built into the schedule so you MUST be ready to play 20 minutes prior to the scheduled game time or run the risk of forfeiture. Many of the Bell Capital Cup games will begin ahead of schedule.
GAME AWARDS
Players cannot win the Player of the Game (POG) Award or the Senators Hardest Worker of the Game Award more than once during round-robin, quarter-final and semi-final play (i.e. A player may win twice if his/her second award is during the Championship game). For clarity, if a player wins the Player of the Game award he/she cannot win the Senators Hardest Worker of the Game award or another Player of the Game Award until the final game. This is to allow the maximum number of players the opportunity to win an award. Teams are asked to assist arena coordinators in identifying previous POG recipients on the game sheet prior to their games
DRESSING ROOM POLICY
No one, other than players, coaches and trainers are allowed in the dressing rooms and the hallways leading to the dressing rooms before and after games. A maximum of four coaches and one trainer are permitted. Please respect this rule and notify your parents that this will be enforced and their co-operation is appreciated.
Each team must verify their game sheet prior to each game. A team official must sign the game sheet prior to each game noting suspensions, affiliate players (with an ‘AP’ beside the players name), in addition to crossing off players not participating in that game.
