Southern Ohio Copperheads

Bill L’Heureux Chairman of the Board

President Bill L’Heureux

Our team is excited and honored to announce that Bill L’Heureux will assume the role as President of the Southern Ohio Copperheads.

L’Heureux completed his undergraduate work at Ohio University with a Bachelor in Interpersonal Communication and Business. He currently works as the Operations Manager at L’Heureux Properties and serves on the Nelsonville Chamber of Commerce as President as well. He joins the Copperheads leadership family along with his wife, Jennifer, daughter, Tatum, and son, Morris.

A native of Athens, Ohio, a Bobcat alum, and an active member of the community, Bill is the perfect candidate for this position. L’Heureux has been involved with the Copperheads before, where he sat as Chairman for the last ten years. He originally wanted to get involved with the Copperheads because he feels, “it’s the best things about Athens in the summertime.”

Not only is L’Heureux a seasoned Copperhead, he also brings a sense of stewardship, philanthropy and leadership to his presidency which can be seen in his extensive involvement throughout Athens. In the past, he has been a youth hockey and baseball coach, a founding member of the Nelsonville Entrepreneur Support Team, and director of several foundational boards.

L’Heureux is motivated to giving back to the community and is looking forward to “not only fielding a competitive team but creating a wonderful environment for the community.”

Additionally, he is, “very proud of the community involvement and the ability to take the relationship of the community and the University even further.”

“I am looking forward to getting through the season with some good weather and great talent. We have fielded a good team and the players will have a great experience. And, that’s why we do this whole thing.”
