The Draft for the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 season is now open!
Players without a team affililation can register for our draft, select their preferred region and attend a draft event to be chosen for a private or league run team. Here's how it works....
- Register using the Draft player link above - you will have the opportunity to chose a first and second choice location/league.
- Your fee is based on your first choice location, but if you end up being drafted to a team in your second choice location, you would pay that fee. When you register you can choose to pay at that time, or defer your payment until Oct. 1st.
- All draftees need to register online before their region's draft event, and you must pay the league directly before Oct. 1st to be considered for placement on a team.
- If you want to be drafted onto more than one team, you will need to pay the fee for each team; we transfer that money to the team(s), and they are counting on you as a player and as a payer.
- As you will note, the draft fees vary from league to league, depending on the cost of ice at those rinks, as well as other factors. While the draft events are free, if you are placed on a team you must pay the fee for that teams' league. Draft Fees for the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 season are as follows:
- Boston, South, Walpole-Foxboro are $525 each
- North and Kingston are $495 each
- Marlboro is $475
- BU Sunday am is $395
- You should attend the Individual Player Evaluation Event (draft) for your first choice region - that is where team captains who need players will be there to draft you. If you can't make that night's event, you should attend your second choice location's event - if they can't see you - they won't draft you. Upcoming Draft events are as follows:
- Walpole-Foxboro - Tue Sept 15 at 9pm at Rodman Arena
- Metro Boston - Tue Sept 15 at 9pm at Canton Sportsplex
- North of Boston - Wed Sept 16 at 9:30 pm at the Malden Forum
- Kingston Bog - Thu Sept 17 at 9pm at the Bog
- BU Sunday AM - Sun Oct. 18 at 10:30 am at the Walter Brown Arena

- We have 30+ years experience running a draft - if you can play hockey, we will find a team for you. If by some chance we can't get you on a team, we will of course refund your money. If you are placed on a team, and it doesn't work out, let us know right away and we will try to get you on another team or refund all/part of your money, depending on how many weeks have gone by since your placement on that team.
