INFO: LH OPENING CEREMONIES 2016
PARADE: Line up, in uniform,with your team no later than 9 am on Saturday morning at the Lakehill Elementary School parking lot. Caroline Green will be there to organise everyone in order and make sure you are all ready to go for the parade around the neighbourhood and onto the Major Diamond.
PHOTOS: The Photo Schedule is ready for all teams, please see attached. Please arrive for your team photos in full uniform at least 10 minutes prior to your photo time. If you miss your time you will not be in the photo! There will be no retakes. mini-tball photos will be taken on April 16th. If your team is not listed on this April 9th schedule your photos will be taken on the following saturday, April 16th.
ACTIVITIES: FOOD-Directly following the Ceremony, all players in uniforms will be given a free hot dog, bag of chips and a drink at the food table. DAVE’S DUGOUT will be open as well (BRING CASH), and we are all looking foreward to the awesome food Dave has to offer us this year. FUN: Diamond #4 -Dragon Races for bubblegum and team TUG-O-WAR Diamond #3- Radar Gun- How fast can you throw?
OPENING DAY GAMES: What better way to kick off the ball season than by watching your Lakehill Baseball and Softball Players on the field in the first game of the season? Grab a burger and watch a game!
FIELD PREP DEMO: After the Opening Ceremonies, Diamond 1 will get set up for the game. If you are a baseball parent, stay and watch the demo because you will need to know how to do this! Diamond #2 will also have a field prep demo for the softball parents that need to learn how to prep a softball field.
SPIRIT WEAR:THE FAN ZONE- there will be a tent set up with the spirit wear samples ready for you to try on. Then go online and make your order, the link is on the lakehillball.com website, 10% off until the 18th of April. There is some awesome stuff this year, including clothing for youth and Adult, a warm LH blanket and more! But, best of all, we are sporting a NEW LOGO!!
GEAR SWAP: if you have extra ball gear kicking around bring it down to the park to sawp or just donate. The table will be set up by the other tables by the concession.
