TPASC Board of Directors

On behalf of the board of directors, welcome to Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC). This world-class facility will serve as a beacon for those looking to pursue healthy, active lives. More than just a building, TPASC is a health and wellness environment where all members – from individuals new to physical literacy, to sports teams, to fitness enthusiasts, to high performance and Olympic athletes – are welcomed to help foster a culture of inclusivity.

As a part of the legacy of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, TPASC will offer sports and physical activity programming for residents of the community, University of Toronto Scarborough students, faculty and staff, in addition to recreational and high performance athletes. The new facility will be Canada’s premier aquatics centre as well as a state-of-the-art training and competition venue, and will be home to the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario.

TPASC includes two Olympic-sized swimming pools and an Olympic diving tank. It also boasts four international-sized basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, running track, strength training and aerobic conditioning floors and fitness class studios. Accessibility features include a movable floor area to facilitate pool access for individuals with disabilities and will provide suitable conditions for new swimmers and a variety of shallow-water fitness activities. 

A great deal of strategic planning, development and execution has gone into the opening of TPASC. The facility is a true symbol of the power of sport and collaboration. We are grateful to TPASC funding partners including the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario, in addition to co-owners the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto. TPASC also sincerely acknowledges the contributions from the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee.
