
Brandon Seymour has joined the Valley Blue Sox as the teams newest General Manager for it's 2024 season taking the helm Tyler Descheneaux after he moved on to the Boston Red Sox.
Brandon comes to the Blue Sox with a varied background having served in the U.S. Navy, and in law enforcement. Most recently, Brandon worked as a sales and markerting director for a property restoration firm and has further served as the Commissioner of the Western Mass Wood Bat League for the past three seasons. The unique combination made him the ideal candidate for the posistion. Brandon's has an educational background in Legal Studies at Umass Amherst, Harvard University, Criminal Justice at Mount Wachusett Community College, and is a graduate of the 9th M.P.O.C. Boylston Police Academy.
Originally from Lancaster, MA, Brandon is a life long baseball fan and player while still playing today. When not on the field or in the front office he can be found in the woods and losing multiple golf balls at one of western Massachusetts many golf courses. His wife Carrie, son Logan, and daughter Alexa are just as excited to join the Blue Sox and are looking forward watching the team grow and succeed.
In his GM role, Brandon is responsible for a wide range of the team’s business affairs, including creating and maintaining sponsorships, managing league responsibilities, and cultivating community relations.
