Charlie Fellows:
Charlie is a rising senior at Syracuse University from Scarborough, Maine, majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He is a desk member at WAER Sports and has done on-air and production work at ACC Network and CitrusTV. Last summer, he called play-by-play for the Greater Northeast Collegiate Baseball League, a college summer league in Maine. Besides broadcasting, Charlie enjoys swimming, relaxing with friends, and playing the trombone for Syracuse's Sour Sitrus Society pep band. He is ecstatic at the opportunity to spend a summer in Alaska honing his broadcasting skills.
Dylan Simmons:
Dylan is a Senior at Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Journalism with a Sports Media focus, and is a native to Spencer, TN. Currently, Dylan is a member or has done work for MTN Sports, Blue Raider Television, WLIJ, MTSU Media Arts, MTSU Athletics, the Blue Raider Network, and WGNS. He is or has been a broadcaster for MTSU Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Soccer, Hockey, and Women’s Basketball. In the Summer of 2023, he got to work as a broadcaster for the Badlands Big Sticks Baseball Club out of Dickinson, North Dakota who now play in the Northwoods League. In his free time, Dylan is a big fan of running and mountain climbing which fits perfectly in Alaska. He is excited to help tell the story of the 2024 Miners alongside Charlie, and to have an experience that only “The Last Frontier” can provide.
