A Grahamtastic baseball game was played on June 17, 2011 at Goodall Park. Paige Wales, 10, of Sanford, threw out the first pitch. Paige became a laptop recipient in 2009, when Cystic Fibrosis symptoms inhibited her to attend school. Paige and her brother, Todd, were special guests at this game, helping to celebrate the Grahamtastic-Sanford Mainer's partnership.
For the 2018 season, the Mainers and Grahamtastic have paired up for the eighth time and will help support the organization's mission of supplying free laptops, tablets, VGo Robots and Internet access to hospitalized children.
Grahamtastic provides free technology to hundreds of seriously ill children a year from Maine to California. In addition, thousands of children use the computers permanently placed at more than 40 facilities across the country, such as Boston's Ronald McDonald House and Maine Children's Cancer Program.
For the last few years, Grahamtastic and SIS Bank have paired up so that when a Mainers player hits a home run, SIS will donate $100 to the cause.
