COACHES

Caviglia co-founded the San Francisco Seagulls in 2003 (w/ Doug Price) and started the youth Seagulls (known as Seagulls Baseball Academy) in 2017. A University of Hawaii-Hilo graduate, Caviglia played college baseball for the Vulcans and began his coaching career at City College of San Francisco shortly after graduating from Hawaii-Hilo in 2005.

Caviglia has helped over 150 student athletes chase their baseball dreams and earn four year college baseball scholarships.

Over the last decade, Caviglia has led the San Francisco Seagulls Collegiate team to a 320-215 record, including being nationally ranked in the summer of 2017 and 2018. 

Haake graduated from Midland University in 2018 and began his coaching career soon after. Haake is currently an assistant coach for Mission Junior College and oversees hitters for the youth Seagulls during the Mission JC offseason.

Haake has 20 years of baseball experience, including the last five as a coach, with expertise in outfield defense, hitting, bunting and baserunning.

Cage Cascone is a SF seagulls college alumni (2014, 2015 and 2017) and Avila university in 2017 graduate. Post grad, he played three seasons of independent professional baseball, with two full seasons in the Pacific Association and saw almost every level in some capacity as a pitcher. He became a Seagulls youth Academy pitching instructor and fall of 2017.

Cascone has a focus in pitching velocity development, mechanics, strength and conditioning for the pitcher, as well as pitch development and pitching strategy.

Sebastiani began coaching baseball after he graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2016. Sebastiani currently coaches for Murray State College in Oklahoma and helps out with the youth Seagulls during the offseason.

Sebastiani brings a ton of energy to Academy and has 20-plus years of baseball experience, including the last seven as a coach, with expertise in infield defense, baserunning and hitting.
