ACCOMMODATIONS
Mid-Am is offering free rooms on Friday night to any association wishing to arrive on Friday in advance of the meetings. One room is available per association, and only 50 total rooms have been reserved. Interested associations should contact Darcee Purvis at midamsecretary@gmail.com and provide the association name, the attendee's name, the attendee's title/position with the association, and contact information for the attendee.
LUNCH
Mid-Am is providing free lunches for the membership, but these lunches must be reserved in advance. The lunch break is from 12:00 to 1:00. To reserve a free lunch, please email Darcee Purvis at midamsecretary@gmail.com and provide the association name, the attendee's name, the attendee's title/position with the association, and contact information for the attendee.
AGENDA
A detailed agenda has not yet been released, but general information indicates that the morning session will run from 10 AM to Noon and consist of "work sessions" on proposed by-laws, rules, and regulations. The afternoon session will begin at 1:15 and consist of reports, elections, and approval of the proposals.
PROXY VOTING
Each association is entitled to 1 vote for every 10 registered players in that association. The vote is granted to the president of the association, but the power to cast these votes can be given to another person in attendance at the meeting. An individual is only able to vote on behalf of one association. Please see the sample below for the format of the letter needed to transfer these voting rights to another individual.
