Peters Township and Central Catholic skate to 2-2 (OT) tie

Peters Township and Central Catholic could not settle their match and fought to a 2-2 tie.

Peters Township managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Peters Township wound up below its season average of 11.0 penalty minutes per game. Peters Township's offense rang up 39 shots on Central Catholic's net.

Peters Township was helped by Will Barnes, who tallied one goal and one assist. Barnes scored 10:56 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Peters Township. Conner Gielarowski picked up the assist. Peters Township additionally got points from Cal Raymore, who also registered one goal and one assist.

Central Catholic forced Peters Township goalie Caden Shell to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Central Catholic was helped by Sam Delucia, who grabbed one goal. Delucia scored 3:17 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jake Tepe provided the assist. Central Catholic also got a goal from Ryan Haag as well. Other players who recorded assists for Central Catholic were Easton Alger, who had one.

Shell recorded 30 saves for Peters Township. Peters Township registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Central Catholic's Nathaniel Cava stopped 37 shots out of the 39 that he faced. Central Catholic incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
