Jack LeClair
Jack Leclair played four seasons with the Kings from 1975 to 1979. Jack claims the highlight of his career as a King was his rookie season in 1975/76 when he finished an impressive second in the league in scoring with 57 goals and 101 points in 42 games. Jack finished his career with the Kings playing 121 regular season games totalling 160 goals and 303 points. Jack describes the team highlight (or disappointment) was reaching finals of the Great Lakes Junior C league playoffs three years in a row, only to lose out to Essex all three years, two years going 7 games. Jack was drafted by London Knights in 1975 but couldn’t crack the lineup. Jack pursued a career as a Chartered Accountant and today farms in the Dresden area. He and his lovely wife Carole have four amazing children and one brand new grandchild. And the tradition continued in the Leclair household as Jack’s son Ryan played for the Kings from 2002 to 2006.
Jack continues to support the Dresden Jr Kings by taking on the daunting task of Treasurer for the 2011/12 year.
Thank you Jack for all your contributions to our community owned Dresden Jr Kings Hockey Club.
