Question: What does last week’s alumni of the week, Rick Patterson and “Fergie” have in common? They are both from Thamesville, both Jr. King alumni, and both have been inducted into the Dresden Sports Hall of Fame in the team category for baseball.
Rob grew up in Thamesville and graduated from LKCS.
He played for the Dresden Jr. Kings from 1977-1979.
Today, Rob is the owner of JBT Golf Supply. He, his wife Brenda and three sons, Joshua(13), Brandon(15) and Tyler(18) live in Amherstburg.
Interestingly, oldest son Tyler currently plays for the Essex 73's and will be attending Illinois State University this fall on a golf scholarship. Huh!
