WORLD JUNIOR A CHALLENGE

2017 WJAC December 10-16 at Truro, N.S.

Created in 2006 to showcase the talent in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s 10 Junior A leagues, the World Junior A Challenge will be comprised of six teams in two divisions.  

In one division is Canada (East) and in the other division is Canada (West).  

Both Canadian teams will be joined by four international teams.

This year's event was held in Dec. 10-16 in Truro, N.S., with a tournament format, including a single round robin followed by two (2) semi-final games and two (2) medal games for a total of 13 games.

Canada West defeated the USA 5-1 in the gold medal game.
