2023 GLSCL All-Star Selections Announced
The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League is proud to announce the selections to the 2023 All-Star game on July 18 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.
All 13 teams are represented with the two rosters divided representing both the North and South Divisions. Each all-star team roster is composed of two players per position and ten pitchers each throwing one inning during the game.
The Muskegon Clippers earned the honor of having the most selections eight players elected to either starter or reserve positions. The Lima Locos and Xenia Scouts where next each with seven selections. The all-stars were selected in a process that included feedback from representatives of all 13 teams.
The North Division All-Star team will be coached by the Muskegon head coach Logan Fleener and the South Division head coach will be Colby Watilo of the Xenia Scouts.
There is also a group of prospects that have been selected to be available as replacements in case of an injury.
All of the players selected, all-star starters, all-star reserves and all-star prospects, will participate in a showcase on the turf field at Prasco Park in front of major league scouts that will be in attendance. The showcase will begin at 2:30 pm.
The game is scheduled to be played on the main field at Prasco Park with the first pitch at 7:05pm. The event is free of charge to the public and there will also be a host of food trucks available for the convenience of everyone in attendance.

ABOUT THE GREAT LAKES SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE
The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate, founded in 1987, is a wood-bat league that is certified by the NCAA and is partially funded by Major League Baseball. The league currently consists of 13 active franchises in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana boasting several players that have earned service time in major league baseball.
